The STS-121 is due to launch tomorrow (Saturday July 1, 2006). Coverage begins at 10AM Eastern time.
You can tune into NASA TV and watch on the web. You can watch it on your TV too, NASA TV (of course).
These launches never fail to amaze me.

Same here. I have always thought the space program extremely important to our own evolution as a species. I wish they would be replaced with something better but until then they need to keep the manned flights going. If they don't we will lose it. Pop culture today is an out of sight out of mind one.
These launches never fail to amaze me.
They give me goose bumps (good kind) as well. They fill me with pride at their beauty and magnitude.

Ditto that. There's been a lot of broken spirits from failures of the past. Even if the program ever does come to a close, I hope at least a new space program with new approaches will come about.

Awesome, I'm definitely going to watch. One of the astronauts, Mike Fossum, is from my home town, so we're all really excited for him and his family. We're also all very hopeful that nothing bad happens.

Yeah, thanks! I love the quiet before the storm, then watching it blast into space. It looks like utter chaos, but it is in fact a science. (No pun intended. )

This is something I would love to see in the flesh as it were, but living in the UK, and getting over to see a launch is a bit of a nightmare.
I have been to Orlando twice, and went to NASA, one of the best things of the visit (apart from Star Tours)
