John Williams Composes New Music
Just read about this HERE and thought I'd share it with you all. Nice start to the season I'd say.
Enjoy!

I really didn't need any confirmation of John Williams musical genius, but the article has a lot of details I didn't know. I enjoyed reading it. Thanks. I listen to Mr. Williams' masterpieces at least twice a week. To me, they beat the classics of Beethoven, Mozart, etc. John Williams has achieved a classical sound with a modern tone. Hey, Lord Shame, what did you do to deserve such an honor?

I'd like to know that myself!

My sister asked him for a signed photo/item early last year. My birthday was in November, but I did get the card from him a couple weeks ago! It was so cool! But my funds are stil depleted, so I haven't been able to get a frame for it.

Thanks for the link. He really is a remarkable individual, isn't he?

My husband and I had the pleasure of driving down to Chicago last fall to see Mr. Williams conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. They graced the audience with an exquisite evening of film music, much of which was John Williams' own work. Sadly, the evening came to a close (after three standing ovation "call backs"). What a night it was!

The man is certainly diverse in his talents.

Whenver I think of John Williams, I think of the scene from the Simpsons where they're at an outdoor festival seeing the music of John Williams set to a laser show. Homer says "Laser effects, mirrored balls...John Williams must be rolling around in his grave."
